I tried switching AD2 to the standard mapping, and that just made a mess of my sounds, re-mapping them to different sounds, even though I didn't re-record. The ones I play on the pad are present if you click on the keyboard in the editor, but the ones which aren't mapped don't even seem to register if you hit the key in the editor. Well, in Cubase, when I tried it the other night, it seems like something about the way AD2 is mapped (I have a custom map) is causing the MIDI editor not to have all the notes present and accounted for in terms of mapping to sounds. Note: Our Free MIDI packs do not have files for Addictive Drums. If you make a purchase you’ll find that our files are mapped correctly, have categories, tempo, time signature and will appear in searches. Thereafter, I could move notes to different notes for the different sounds (say I wanted to move something to a different version of a cymbal, or add a cymbal, etc.). All Groove Monkee MIDI Drum packs are compatible with Addictive Drums 1 and 2. Ill have like 4-5 midi tracks of LABS Drums just so I can pan stuff how I want. I recommend making a folder either on an SSD or just your desktop, and selecting it. So.in FL, I'd play notes on my drum pad (Akai MPD-232), and they'd go to the correct notes on the piano roll (read: MIDI editor). When you download Addictive Drums 2, during the installation it’ll give you a route to decide where to install the VST/VST3. I'm a fairly recent convert from FL Studio, btw. I've been using Addictive Drums 1 & 2 for years.
